AIB SERVICES Ltd was formed in the mid 1970's by father and son Harry and Andrew Betteridge (AIB being Andrew Ian Betteridge) primarily to install car washes manufactured by 'Euroclean', part of the Electrolux group, Harry was the technical director of Euroclean, in charge of developing a new concept of public use jetwashing on garage forecourts.

When Euroclean moved out of the industry declaring there was no future in coin op' jetwashes, Harry and Andrew decided to manufacture the products themselves, branded as JETSET, with the help of a local sheet metal company who were making the cabinets. After a year the metalworks went bust and so, like the shaver advert, they bought the company. So was born the business you see now, with a fabrication division and carwash expertise unrivalled by anyone.

AIB Services has grown and grown, expanding to include a nationwide service team, employing in the region of 50 people and now occupying a 22,000sq ft factory in the heart of the country, producing and installing the finest forecourt equipment worldwide and, not forgetting it's metalworking ability, manufacturing anything from light fittings to mini kitchens.

Harry is enjoying a well earned retirement and Andrew, MD of the whole structure, can still often to be found on the shop floor, inventing new ideas to support the JETSET motto - 'Invention through Design'
